FAQ Flute Festival Cruise

CABIN/CRUISE INFO

Cruise Cabins are Double Occupancy.  As of Feb 10, 2024, the least expensive cabins are: $1472 for an inside cabin and $1672 for an outside cabin.  This rate is for  the whole cabin and is about $230 cheaper if only one person books it.   Balcony cabins are around $3500 with taxes and fees. 

 Typically cruise guests spend several hundred dollars on extras on the ship.  This is not required.  You can do the whole cruise and not spend any extra money.  Extras are things like soda, alcohol,  restaurants, gambling, purchasing items at the store and extra gratuities.  The  ship is pretty clear about extra charges.

You MAY book your own cabin anywhere on the ship and then either you or I can add your booking to our group if you book through someone other than Royal Caribbean.

Individual Expenses

The price of the Cruise includes ship accommodations, ocean transportation (tendering), meals, some

non-alcoholic beverages and entertainment onboard the ship.

The Cruise price does not include;

 Air transportation

 Ground transportation

 Shore excursions

 Meals and accommodations when not onboard the ship

 Select Beverages or Beverage Packages

 Photographs

 Gratuities

 Telephone calls

 Specialty restaurants

Also not included are purchases from ship stores or items of a personal nature, such as medical services,

laundry services, spa treatments or salon services etc.

More cruise specific info will be available as we get closer to sailing time.

FLUTE FESTIVAL INFO

Registration payments will be refunded if the cruise is cancelled.  As of Feb. 10, 2024 we have enough Festival participants booked to have the Flute Festival Cruise.

Flute classes will be on Deck 4 and Deck 6 in the conference rooms and the Enchanted lounge.

We would love to have at least 3 Flute Choirs (at least 5 member groups) participate and have a personalized masterclass for their group.

Flute Choirs should have 10-15 min of music prepared  for the masterclass and the final performance.

ALL Flute Players will need their own instruments and music stand/instrument stands.

Flute Festival Choir music and Sightreading Music will be emailed prior to the cruise.  I expect to have the music chosen by October 2024.  If you have issues printing or bringing this music with you, please let the Festival Director know.
