Flutes on the 4th

We are now in full swing for JULY 4, 2026    

1.   REGISTRATION LINK:     Here is the link to register.   If you are able to stand for the 30 minute performance please do so.   The more chairs we have out on the porch of the Gettysburg Hotel limits the amount of players we can comfortably accommodate.  

2.  MUSIC LINK:   Available at the links below.    Please note that in addition to the regular Flutes on the 4th book, we are performing a brand new piece this year- A Revolutionary Medley.  Music is free BELOW - you can print it and start practicing.   There is also a recording of this song below.

3.  STORE/ T SHIRT/ TOTE BAGS LINK:   Our artist has made our 2026 logo for the shirts and bags and it is fabulous.  Our art team has also teamed up with a local printer to make our merchandise.   Please note that the store will only be open from June 1-12.  The printer is in Hanover, PA so you may also choose to pick up the items and avoid shipping.   All this information is on the store website HERE

4.  Donations:  For the past 4 years Edie and I have gladly assumed the cost of this event.   As you can imagine, costs continue to rise.   If you are in a position to donate and would like to do so, you may send donations to:  LeeAnn Baird, 146 George Street, Hanover PA  17331.    Whether you donate or not, we are just happy to have you celebrate this great country with us and join us in this historic event.

Here are the videos of 10 of the pieces we played on July 4, 2022 in Gettysburg PA.  The  35 member group rehearsed for about 1 hour and then played for 30 minutes.  The age range was young teen to 80's.  Most received their music within 1-2 weeks of the performance.  Performers chose their own parts, with only 2 on Piccolo.
